Staines High Street - Access Restriction Barriers

Staines High Street - Access Restriction Barriers 4
Surrey County Council is proposing the installation of Barriers either side of the High Street. This is to restrict motor vehicles access to High Street outside of the permitted hours by installing manually operated access restriction barriers.

These will be installed at either end of the high street where the pillars are located. These barriers will be locked between the hours of 9:30-5:00pm, Mondays - Saturday and all day Sunday. They will be unlocked and opened during the times that delivery vehicles are permitted 5:00pm - 9:30am Monday to Saturday. The barrier will be opened and closed by a parking enforcement officer.

Market traders will be unaffected. They will still be able to access the street early on market days in order to set up. Emergency services will also be able to open and close these barriers to gain access as required.

The survey closes on Monday 7 April 2025. To have your say and for further information visit Have Your Say Today - Staines High Street - Commonplace
