Spelthorne Partnership Assembly

The SPA, chaired by Leader of the Council, Cllr Joanne Sexton, offers a valuable opportunity for residents to meet local councillors, hear important updates from partner organisations, and take part in shaping local priorities.

Cllr Joanne Sexton, Leader of Spelthorne Borough Council, said:
"The Spelthorne Partnership Assembly is your platform to engage directly with your council and our partners. With local government structures under review, this is a vital time for Spelthorne residents to get involved. The decisions being made could shape how local services are delivered for years to come. We want to hear your views, both at the Assembly and through the consultation. It's your borough and your voice should lead the way. I encourage all residents to join us on 30 June and be part of the conversation."

Spelthorne residents and businesses are invited to take part in a major consultation on how local services are run. The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government is reviewing council structures across Surrey - the biggest change in over 50 years.

Your answers will help shape the future of how services are delivered in your community.

The consultation closes Tuesday 5 August 2025.
