Ashford Town By-Election

If you are not registered to vote, the deadline to register is midnight Tuesday 3 June. You can register online at www.gov.uk/register-to-vote

The last day for new applications to vote by post or to change or cancel an existing postal vote or proxy arrangement is 5pm on Wednesday 4 June. 

You can apply online for a postal vote https://www.gov.uk/apply-postal-vote

If you cannot vote in person, you can appoint a proxy to vote on your behalf. The deadline is 5pm on Wednesday 11 June. 

Don't forget you'll need to provide photo ID to vote at a polling station - more details of acceptable forms of ID can be found on your poll card. If you don't have any photo ID, you can apply for a Voter Authority Certificate before 5pm on Wednesday 11 June at https://www.gov.uk/apply-for-photo-id-voter-authority-certificate
