A gambling licence application has been received for an Adult Gaming Centre on Church Road in Ashford. Residents have until 27 August to comment on the application

Background:

The gaming centre applied for a planning application which was refused by Spelthorne Borough Council three times. This led to the applicant appealing to the Planning Inspectorate and a public hearing being held on 26 March 2025. The Government Planning Inspector then approved the application with a planning condition of operating hours from 9am - 11pm.
